Interest Profile

Psychologist John Holland found that work interests fall into six broad areas: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional. Most people lean toward two or three of them, and the mix says a lot about the work they'd enjoy.

You'll see 48 activities. For each one, say how much you'd enjoy doing it. Don't worry about skills, money or training: just whether it sounds like something you'd like to do. About five minutes.

Questions from the public-domain RIASEC Marker scales (Armstrong, Allison & Rounds, 2008). Interests aren't abilities, and the careers shown are examples to explore, not a verdict. Your answers stay in this browser.
