Decision Style
Good deciders aren't all the same. Some go with their gut, some build a spreadsheet; some decide in a minute, some sleep on it for a week. Every style works well somewhere, and goes wrong somewhere else.
You'll rate 29 short statements on three scales: head or heart, how much you like to think things through, and careful or quick. About four minutes. Then you'll see when your style serves you, and when to borrow from the other side.
Questions from three public-domain IPIP scales: Emotion-Based Decision-Making (Barchard, 2001), Need for Cognition (IPIP items) and IPIP-NEO Cautiousness. Results show your own answers, not a comparison with other people. Your answers stay in this browser.
